Sofie Claes is a Belgian designer from Genk, born in 1984. After studying Design & Styling at Amsterdam Fashion Institute, she started her own label Wolf. by Sofie Claes.
Deconstruction & reconstruction are visible aspects throughout the collec- tion. The collection is based on research on classic designs of the past, to get to the essence of a garment. Comfort and functionality are highly re- spected throughout the design and production approach.
Wolf.’s vision is to create clothes that reinforce the personality of the woman who wears them. She stands out in the crowd as a strong, creative human being with a sense of nostalgia and a sparkle of mystery. She is inspiring, but has her feet firmly on the ground.
